- Traditional Approach: Developing kernel-based algorithms tailored for specific domains, such as LWIR-based sensors for autonomous vehicles

Hardware Architecture
- Developing accelerators or processors for domain-specific image processing to achieve real-time, low-cost and low power performance
- Accelerator: Designing scalable architectures that can efficiently adapt to different input parameters to meet the power, performance, and area (PPA) requirements of the systems
- Processor: Researching and applying partitioning methodologies to maximize system performance (e.g., achieving 60+ fps) for the development of HW/SW co-processing systems
